Microsoft Paint for Windows XP/2003 - Manage Print Setting via GPO ?
hi,
many people use basic tool ms-paint in our company. it's free, esay , important: "builtin tool" (no need install more on 700 pc). but, 1 thing not funny mspaint, it's print setting. default, mspaint doens't keep in memory page rotation, fit on page (1:1), etc.
i searched on internet solution... nobody seem have answer. think it's possible , that's "hidden" feature in microsoft tools. why tell ?
if take in registry, can see branch named: [hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\applets\paint\settings]
but key empty ! why creating empty key ;) if know values use microsoft set mspaint, create adm file push on network via gpo. let me know if have information.
regards,
ggbce
i found this:
start>run>type "regedit">ok
navigate hkey_users\s-1-5-21-789336058-1450960922-725345543-1003\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\applets\paint\view
change data of value "bmpheight" height. change data of value "bmpwidth" width.
of course translate current user in registry.
if want find out registry keys looks use process monitor http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx
