Active Directory on top on Hyper-V Clustering
hi guys,
i got 1 scenario on setting active directory domain controller on top of windows 2008 hyper-v clustering, , host machine clustering query domain controller in virtual instance. got domain controller @ other active directory site. clustering point of view, supported configuration?
thanks in advanced.

clustering point of view can this
but suppose following
- other domain controller failing
- virtual domain controller running
- secondary cluster node down reason
- cluster node rebooting
at point of rebooting, try logon domain... cannot, physical domain controller failed, , virtual not running yet, virtual on machine booting...
so virtualizing domain controllers, there *small* risk in situations not able authenticate.
small risk real, , yes, have seen install happened
personally, not virtualize domain controllers, them physical , dedicated
rgds,
edwin.
