W2008 service for Unix issue

i have w2003 domain unix authentication installed. have w2008 server has nfs installed.  can create share , access linux servers.  issue failure when run "cp -p file /nfsshare".  file copies says cannot retain permissions access denied.  have idea casue this?

hi,

as far know, there name mapping or translating process when copy file permissions. error may occur if name mapping cannot work properly. please compare permission settings on both sides.

as workaround, suggest try run cp without option p first.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine
