Bad wan link

hey

we have branch office behind bad wan link

the connection offline more hour

so placed domain controller on site , made dfs replica

when connection online there no problems

when offline time stops working domain controller , dfs share

the branch office domain controller old 2008 (non r2) server

the main office running windows server 2012r2

how can set dc , dfs work if there no wan link availible?

hi,

according description, understanding setup dfs replication between branch office , main office. need set dc , dfs work if there no wan link available. 

if 2 office connected wan link, if connection goes down, dfs replication keep trying replicate while schedule open.

what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? in of cases, windows update service is not working client machines having these 2 files. even tried delete wuauclt1.exe, created automatically. what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? the wuauclt1.exe (and sister file wuaueng1.dll) components of legacy au agent shipped operating systems released prior 2005. Windows 2016 RDS event 1306 Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user... Error: NULL

i'm attempting setup windows 2016 rds standard deployment session hosting.  layout follows: rds01 - rds connection broker , web access ts02 - rds session host ts03 - rds session host domain these servers part of has (1) windows 2008 server , (2) windows 2016 servers acting dcs.  domain running @ windows 2003 functional level. servers on single routed network no firewall between them.  dns , ptr records servers exist , resolve on hosts.  servers can pinged each other. in other words, there no network connectivity issues. i've setup rds deployment several times w/ same results. the issue can login via rdweb interface on rds01 win10 desktop , connect published rdp desktop without issue (i.e. no error messages user) , no errors in logs.  when try directly rdp rds01, authenticate user (per event log) error stating user doesn't have access system.  in event log event id 1306 message of "remote desktop connection broker client faile...
