WSUS on windows server 2012 R2

hello,

previously using windows server 2003 - wsus ,however after upgrading 2012. need guidance on how transfer clients old wsus running on windows server 2003 ..

apart installing wsus on new server 2012..what else should clients can updates new server - 2012

hi,

you using group policy tell client should go check , download updates. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720539(v=ws.10).aspx)

you should update settings new server name , run on test machine : gpupdate /force force load of new settings , wuauclt /detectnow /reportnow force windows update agent contact new server.

all other machine new settings next gpo update (approx ever 90 minutes plus-minus). show in wsus console next poll wsus has occurred.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine
