hi dak1n,

from description, understand gpo redirect document folder works on server. on workstations, documents folder still points c:\ drive.

to troubleshoot problem, please check following items:

1. did edit folder redirection policy on "default domain policy"? if not, please make sure gpo linked ou contains workstations.

2. turn off fast logon optimization on windows xp clients, can use following policy setting:

[computer configuration\administrative templates\system\logon\ wait network @ computer startup , logon]

select "enabled"

for more information, please refer following article:

description of windows xp professional fast logon optimization feature

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305293/en-us

after that, please run gpupdate /force on workstation , re-logon test problem.

if problem continues, please collect following information:

1. open command prompt on client. type following command , run it:

gpresult /v >c:\gpresult.txt

a gpresult.txt file created in c:\ drive.

2. run eventvwr open event viewer on client. export application log.

3. on dc, open gpmc, right-click group policy results, choose group policy results wizard, follow wizard collect group policy result problematic client , user. may need disable firewall temporarily collect information.
