iexplorer does't shut down

i have been having pc problem when using iexplorer.  started v.8, when shut down window, program continues run in memory.  unable open desktop applications until start taskmanager , end running iexplorer.exe.  until open , close iexplorer again.  today loaded v.9 (beta) see if fix problem didn't.  no problem other browsers use.  have tried use automatic repair resource.  running vista current mods.

i'd ask them here.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine

Event ID 64,77,1008 Certificates Events Windows Server 2008, 2008R2
