Windows Server 2012 Standard - RDS - "Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because an error occured"


hi all,

we have small environment @ customer site 5 servers. 1 dc, 1 rds host, 1 rds gateway , other stuff.

basically, works great, users connect form inside , outside rds host , work on machine.

but users unable connect via remote desktop gateway outside , following error message:

"you computer can't connect remote computer because error occurred on remote computer want connect to. contact network administrator assistance."

i checked logs on rds host, gateway , client, have not found messages or errors.

in case, have win7 ultimate (patched), win7 home premium , windows vista machine cannot connect.

but have many 7 pro, ulitmate , home premium can connect.

any hint us?

hi,

check rap , cap policy's in gateway manager.

also check clients ensure rdp 8.0 /8.1 updates have been applied.
