No In-Place Upgrade for Exchange 2007 on W2K3?


according exchange 2007 team's blog in-place upgrade e2k7sp1/w2k3 w2k8 not supported. recommend clean installation of e2k7sp1 on w2k8 server , move mailboxes. additionally, if legacy e2k7sp1/w2k3 environment clustered , entirely new e2k7sp1/w2k8 cluster must built , mailboxes subsequently moved. please tell me when direct upgrade possible.

a short answer question "never", since product team depicted in-place upgrade either not possible or technically challenging making feasible. leave msft answer question definitely, belive you'll have post in exchange-forum them read it.
