Remote Desktop Users group doesn't stay in the "Allow log on through Terminal Services" permission in group policy

i have setup windows server 2003 r2 terminal services. has license server terminal server on same network (this irrelevant). first noticed problem when tried adding users "remote desktop users" group , not log on through rdp. did research , come find out under local security policy>>>>user rights assignment>allow log on through terminal services remote desktop users group not listed. tried adding group buttons add grayed out. make long story short have open "security configuration , analysis" , apply default security settings template in order remote desktop users groups supposed

now here weird part. overnight group gets removed , changed back.  i not sure here.  it seems lot supposed there

hi,

the setting grayed out indication being set via group policy , setting overrides.  need edit domain gpo being set.  can run resultant set of policy (rsop.msc) troubleshoot settings being applied if necessary.

thanks.
