Cannot remove Scheduled Tasks created using Preferences

greetings,

the scenario following:

  • domain windows 2003/2008-based domnain controllers.
  • winxp/win7 clients
  • scheduled tasks created using preferences (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/winservergp/thread/2099e8da-ba89-4743-80f5-a80436d5f1ae/). scheduled tasks run @ user logon.

the problem is:

  • when remove gpo ou user accounts reside (preference settings @ user level) scheduled tasks run @ user logon.

i have tried following:

  • re-apply gpo ou , delete scheduled tasks gpo. result: problem remains.
  • re-create scheduled tasks in gpo, , configure action "delete". result: scheduled tasks don't run @ user logon, still exists in client , cannot

the question is:

what process delete scheduled tasks clients?

thanks in advance!

hello,

did check option in gpo?

re-create scheduled tasks in gpo, , configure action "delete". result: scheduled tasks don't run @ user logon, still exists in client , cannot

what mean that?

what process delete scheduled tasks clients?
