i know there several questions this, checked first still having problem. using windows 2008 domain, want force windows 7 pcs lock screensaver. i have 4 settings set: force specific screen saver - enabled, scrnsave.scr password protect screen saver - enabled prevent changing screen saver - enabled screen saver timeout - 900 seconds i have proven myself, policy getting pcs in question. behavior getting follows. if right click on desktop and go personalize, screen saver on bottom right greyed out, , says none. screen saver never go on. if turn third policy, prevent changing screen saver disabled, can see settings screen saver using. settings has correct, screensaver never starts. still says screen  saver - none, should screensaver - blank. if take away policy above completely, manually change screen saver blank instead of none windows 7 has default. if reapply policy pc lock expected correct timeout , password requirements(except in rare wireless mouse problem

hi, we have dell server running microsoft hyper-v server 2012 r2 core edition , planning take backup of vm's tape drive (dell poweredge lto-6 sas drive). core edition not detecting tape drive , drivers. can switch minimal server interface/full gui in hyper-v server 2012 r2 ? what best 1 , can switch after installing tap drive drivers ? please suggest . thanks as hinte states, hyper-v server (there no 'core edition', special installation not have other features, in essence core edition) can not changed have gui. if running windows server operating systems guests, there advantages running hyper-v server, cost not 1 of them.  , can of same benefits installing windows server 2012 core.  can switch full gui whenever want , switch core after done gui. . : | : . : | : . tim Windows Server  >
