On a computer running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition, service pack 1 installation fails with error message 0x800f0826


hi

i trying install sp1 on windows server 2008 r2, getting error. have changed permission on files (usbstor.inf , usbstor.pnf) still getting same error.

 

given that:

 

the server working on domain controller active directory.

 

the version of windows enterprise edition.

 

the server in general working fine.

 

i have tried installation on clean boot , got same result.

 

i have tried both standalone installation , through windows online update , through wsus server.

 

i have done sfc , chick disk command , found issues.

 

the installation @ every try took 10 hours , after reboot, reach 13% , failed revert change , give error: 0x800f0826  

 

 

what solution issue, please help
