Group Policy not getting applied

hi,

have observed issue on our environment have changed
screensaver , wallpaper via group policy , there 60%
computers been updated new wallpaper , screensaver rest 40%
still running old ones. checked 1 computer running windows 7 ,
executed gpupdate /force , has given below mentioned error.

checked few things, able ping domain name, did dns flush , register,
c:\users\xxxx>gpupdate /force
updating policy...
user policy update has completed successfully.
computer policy not updated successfully. following errors
encountered:
processing of group policy failed. windows attempted read file
\\domain

.local\sysvol\domain.local\policies\{c3deb78b-d94c-4ff0-8183-7d33fb8d0e0e}\gpt.ini
domain controller , not successful. group policy settings may
not applied until event resolved. issue may transient ,
caused 1 or more of following:
a) name resolution/network connectivity current domain controller.
b) file replication service latency (a file created on domain
controller has not replicated current domain controller).
c) distributed file system (dfs) client has been disabled.

run gpresult /v >gpresult.txt on problematic client system , post result here.

seems issue sysvol replication , did check it?might 1 of dc not getting updated gpo's in sysvol...

you can force sysvol replication - http://www.windowstricks.in/2009/11/force-sysvol-replication.html
