Is PDC to PDC direct communication required when establishing a trust relationship and is it required for the trust secret to be reset ?

for trust relationship established , secret refreshed (default every 30 days) direct communication required between pdc emulator in both domains ?  referring 2003 or 2008 domains in scenario when standard dc reachable between domains. there blog similar heading doesn't appear conclusive.  understanding pdc emulator needs on-line in each domain dc can processing.  wanted clear confirmation of ideally ms technical document up. no direct communication required. fsmo & non fsmo dc both provides same functionality(excluding rodc), dc pdcemulator role performs additional task of authorization. understand pdc king in kingdom others, validates data conflicts/duplicates , authorize before replicating others. when there changes/addition/modifications in domain, been forwarded pdc authorization, there no other duplicate object exists arising conflicts in ad. regarding ms article, haven't see such written direction communication between pdc required or not. aw...

when try move folder (tools | fax settings | advanced tab) in windows fax , scan, , select network location, following error message. "the folder specified not exist. since folder specified located on remote computer, create folder manuyally , assign access permissions fax service.  press more information."  have tried creating folder first , setting permissions every way can think of.  have tried clicking "new" button on move folder window.  have clicked allow system set permission. nothing works.  client machine windows 7 pro 64 bit.  fax server , file server windows server 2008 64 bit. fax service works fine, history archives store locally , want them on file server in users documents folder hi, thanks post. as far know, fax folder cannot moved network location due security restriction. based on test, works if set shared folder has full controll, which obviously not meet requirement. thanks, miles   ...

How to add "Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies" to Windows 7 local GPOE?
