hi derek,

can please check if there antivirus application running on both of dfs servers?

antivirus applications can cause excessive replication if scanning activities alter files in replicated folder. test whether antivirus program safe use dfs replication, please see blog post about

testing antivirus application interoperability dfs replication

http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/archive/2006/05/01/426926.aspx

meanwhile, please try running "dfsrdiag pollad" on both of dfs server, , restart dfs replication service on both side see if file replicated.

hope issue can resolved soon.
