switching dfs off on server 2008 R2
i have 2 servers, server1 , server2 both have dfs switched on.
server2 sits in our remote office, our remote office not exist anymore, how switch off dfs off ? hoping changes made copy on server1 sitting in our headoffice ?
i worried of files have been modified on server2 recenlty might not copy on server1 ??

does dfs replication continue staging files when replication disabled schedule or bandwidth throttling quota, or when connection manually disabled?
no. dfs replication not continue stage files outside of scheduled replication times, if bandwidth throttling quota has been exceeded, or when connections disabled.
