2008 SP2 issue

hi all

i have couple of 2008 server running virtual machines. both machine having issues installing sp2. both fresh builds , have had kb955430 installed failed sp install suggest. event log gives error 0x8007000d


can shed light here.

try that:

  • run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r /f 
  • download , install system update readiness tool os
  • disable security softwares
  • download , install manually sp2
