Restoring failed DC (Windows 2008 R2)

greetings,

what

i have dc (from group of 4 dc ) down/does not reboot (boot sector messed up).
disk readable , can attached other computers.

all computers running on hyper-v.

how:

i restore failed dc using content can read disk.
thinking have resintall os scratch , copy ad related files dead dc's disk new dc. make sense?
preserve name / ip etc.

this dc located on separate ad site compare other 3 dcs on network.

please advice.

the same rule applies. gpo domain-level object - regardless whether link domain, ou, or site...
