TS Web and RD gateway on same server

hello,

for pase couple of weeks have been working tsweb , rdgateway. have manged components pieced , working on 1 box not realizing ( should have seperated gateway , ts web) install on 1 box. facing 2 issues cannot seem panned out. here have

dns3 netbios name of main ts components installed ( ts web, licensing server, remote apps, ts manager) all except ts broker. have installed on ad dc.

i can remote app without trouble server when put farm when gets funky.

i cannot add farm name in ts web configuration

i followed article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772418%28ws.10%29.aspx#local_group 

i used gpo , servers joined fine no errors.

so funky part if cannot add farm name in ts web config , when try connect keep getting redirected second server named web408.

in ts gateway have ts server name set internet resolvable domain name .

i thinking if have multiple users logging on complete desktop how going see same desktop if takes them server? wold same if had apps , saved them on server. how files not strewn accross servers?

should have put ts web seperate ts servers?
